ETC's  Zinc anodes (ZINODE) comply with US Military Specification 18001 K.  It is a reliable anode material 99.995% pure, and to overcome the small impurities always present in the base material, a small amount of Aluminium is alloyed in each melt and a uniform corrosion pattern with non-adherent products is assured by the addition of a small amount of cadmium.

ETC's Aluminium anodes (ETC III) is an Aluminium-Zinc-Indium alloy, which complies with DNV specifications and is an internationally accepted and eco-friendly indium activated Aluminium Alloy. Originally developed and introduced in 1960 by Mitsubishi Corporation, the base material is of 99.85% purity and several companies throughout the years have refined the composition to give enhanced performance to what it is today

Industrial Anodes
Pre-packaged Magnesium anodes are the most widely used for soil applications to achieve practical current output in resistive soil applications. Zinc anodes come bare, pre-packed and ribbon type, in electrolyte with a resistivity of less than 15 ohm.m, zinc anodes could be considered.

The magnesium is available in two grades, high purity and high potential. The latter are primarily for use in higher resistivity soils. Anodes are supplied packaged in a cotton bag containing a backfill of gypsum, bentonite and sodium sulphate which improve performance by retaining moisture thus reducing resisitivity of the electrolyte local to the anode.

ETC can also provide Magnesium /Zinc anodes of other compositions to suit the requirements of various sites and structures.
